Principles and Advantages of RFID Poker Cards:
By embedding RFID readers on the poker table, RFID poker information on the table can be sensed. Each RFID tag has a unique ID code stored in the chip, corresponding to the point and suit information of the poker card. After the cards are distributed on the table, the RFID reader automatically reads the chip information, which is then transmitted to the backend computer system. The backend evaluates the card situation, similar to the functionality of a hole card camera, and displays the players' cards to the audience in more or less the same manner, allowing viewers to understand the hand situation of each player in real time, increasing the entertainment value of the game. However, players themselves cannot know the cards of other players, ensuring fairness in the game.
The RFID system recognition process is more convenient for players. In the era of hole card cameras, players had to place their cards perfectly so the camera could record them correctly. Players failing to flip or delaying the camera's capture of their cards was relatively common. With RFID technology, players do not need to do anything extra outside of regular gameplay. This technology gives them more relaxation space and allows them to focus on the game.
Moreover, adopting RFID technology simplifies the filming process of live competitions. Readers under the table read the tags of the cards, sending the information stored in the tags to the computer system. Without disturbing the participants, it enables viewers to better engage in the competition, discussing and participating together, enhancing the entertainment and interactivity of the program.
